As a 48-year-old Sydney resident, my work life is directed by financial data due to a degree in business that led to a career in administration. However, my passions are art history, growing vegetables in my backyard and a lifelong interest in the paranormal, cryptids, and UFO's. Recent government disclosures have renewed my interest in the latter, which I hope to explore in this blog, along with their implications for our knowledge of the universe. I would like to invite you to join me as I attempt to chronicle some of the conspiracies and mysteries of our cosmos.

A Curious Connection: How a Phone Alarm Awakened My Interest in the Paranormal

  My interest in the paranormal began on the morning of a funeral for a close relative for whom I had been caring. I was usually awoken by a phone alarm that rang daily at 6.00am ensuring the regular intake of medications, that I had deleted a week before due to their passing. Prejudice or Proof – UFO’s and the Debunkers Dilemma

  How can the mystery of UFO’s be unravelled, when the researchers appointed by government struggle to separate fact from fiction? This difficulty is explored by two UFO sceptics in a recent article by Luis Cayetano Simmari and Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos that reviews the historical record of UFO investigation by the US government dating back to the 1940’s.   According to the article after decades of virtual inactivity, the U.S. government has now decided to restart investigating UFOs, through a new agency called the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) established in 2022. The goal of AARO is to examine the veracity or otherwise of military reports of UFO encounters by using the most up-to-date technology.
